ContextLiving Proof is a New York print magazine covering artists, musicians, galleries and shops, with a shop and a membership alongside it. Its templated website no longer fit how the editors publish, and it needed a content system built around that workflow with a front end fast enough for photography-heavy pages.

Approach
A purpose-built content architecture replacing a templated stack: a typed schema for editorial models, structured content APIs, and an authoring surface shaped around how the magazine actually publishes. The front end pairs it with a high-performance media pipeline — responsive AVIF and WebP derivatives, aspect-locked containers to eliminate layout shift, and lazy decoding below the fold, so a photography-heavy site still lands its Largest Contentful Paint in under a second.
Stack
- Custom CMS
- Structured content API
- AVIF/WebP pipeline
- Edge caching
