Your app works. Now make it hold up.

For founders who built their app with AI tools and are now meeting real users, real payments and real problems. A fixed-price review of what tends to break, and a written plan to fix it.

What tends to go wrong

Fine in the demo. Different in production.

Building with AI tools is a reasonable way to get a product working quickly. The tools are less careful about what happens once strangers start using it. These are the gaps that usually show up.

  • Sign-in that can be bypassed, or accounts that can see each other's data
  • API keys and secrets shipped to the browser or committed to the repository
  • Database tables with missing or overly open access rules
  • Payments and webhooks that double-charge, miss events or trust the browser
  • Pages and queries that slow down or fail once real users arrive
  • No backups, no monitoring, and no way to know something broke until a customer says so

What the audit covers

Six areas, checked properly.

  1. Sign-in and permissions

Sign-up, sessions and password reset, and whether every user can reach only their own data.

  2. Secrets and configuration

Where keys live, what reaches the browser, and what is sitting in the repository history.

  3. Database rules

Access policies, exposed tables, and queries a user can change from the outside.

  4. Payments and webhooks

Checkout, subscriptions and refunds, and how payment events are verified and handled.

  5. Performance under load

Slow queries, missing indexes, and how the app behaves with many users at once.

  6. Backups, monitoring and deploys

Whether you can restore your data, find out when something fails, and ship a fix safely.

What you get

A report you can act on.

The report

What the report looks like

The same structure every time, so it reads quickly and works as a to-do list.

Summary
The state of the app on one page, and the three things to fix first.
Findings
Each issue with a severity, where it lives, what could happen, and how to fix it.
Fix plan
The findings grouped into pieces of work, in order, with the fixed quote attached.
What was checked
Everything reviewed and found to be fine, so you know what was covered.

Access

Only the access the audit needs.

  • Read-only or collaborator access wherever your platform offers it. No owner accounts.
  • No passwords over email. Access goes through your platform's invite system or a password manager share.
  • NDA on request, signed before any access is granted.
  • Access removed when the report is delivered, and you are told when it is done.

FAQ

Audit questions.

What founders ask before handing over access. If yours is not here, ask it directly.

Usually read access to the code repository, collaborator access to your hosting and database dashboards, and a test account in the app. Where a platform offers a read-only role, we use it. Nothing in production gets changed during the audit.

Then the report says so, and explains why fixing would cost more than rebuilding. You get a fixed quote for the rebuild, and the choice is yours.

The audit is not tied to any one tool. Apps come from AI app builders that generate the whole thing from a prompt, and from AI coding assistants used inside an editor. The problems tend to be the same either way, because they come from what nobody asked the tool to check.

Yes. We sign an NDA on request before any access, share findings with nobody but you, and remove our access when the report is delivered.

No. The audit is $1,000 on its own, and the report is written to be usable by any developer.
